Situating tool

 concepts on situating tool

It is the tools that situate learners in an environment where that may experience the learning context. This tool is very authentic and interactive in nature where the users feel that they are situated in a real environment in their learning. With this tools student are able to conceptualize their thoughts to the real world by applying the theorical knowledge into practical. Situating tools such as GeoGebra can be very effective if we can use in the classroom where it offers dynamic mathematics software that allows students to explore algebra, geometry and other mathematical concepts through interactive graphics and simulations. we also have Google earth which provides a powerful platform for visualising geographic data and exploring the word in 3D.

Steps of creating equilateral triangle in GeoGebra software

Open GeoGebra: type GeoGebra in the search engine and then sign in with your name.

Select geometry section: Click on geometry to start the diagram od equilateral triangle.

Click on tools: click on tools to get access to all the basic tools needed to draw the diagram.

Seclect points: In the toolbar, click on points and draw two point that is point A and B

Select segment: In the toolbar, click on segment and connect those two points

Draw circle: In the toolbar, click on circle with centre and draw circle from both the point to the intersection points.

Complete the circle: In the toolbar, click on segment and joint the line from both the points to intersection points which is marked as point C

Select on polygon: In the toolbar, click on polygons and trace the outer triangle to make it thick for clear vision.

Click on hide object: Remove those two-circle drawn to find the intersection by clicking on hide object.

Export: To export the diagram or the file, click on downloads.
